In the car business we like the Jews celebrate our New Years in late September.
Rosh Ha-Shanah or as the Bible refers to it as the Feast of Trumpets, was Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday this last week.
And this is cool, Jewish Tradition is that, The Rosh Ha-Shana holiday commemorates the completion of the 6th day of creation. So their calendars have this as the year 5769
So instead of getting excited about the 2009 models, I’m thinking we might actually be more accurate in saying the 5769 models…
So happy new year everyone and “Leshanah tovah tikatevu,” which means, “May you be
inscribed (written down in the huge book) for a good year. “Hebrew Legends tell that a huge book containing every person’s name is opened in heaven during the New Year holidays.
