How are the strictest emissions standards in the world, (LEVII) driving auto makers to get better fuel economy at the same time?
285 miles per gallon the VW 1-Liter a “diesel” not a “hybrid”! This VW designed to go 100 kilometers on a liter of Diesel or 287mpg. How was it done?

Thanks Bob, my understanding is that VW has approved a limited amount of production for 2010, how much if any will reach the United States is speculation. No pricing information is available yet, and that may be the reason for the delay. It would appear with the carbon fiber components and other high tech items it may be a bit pricey. That is also speculation, I hope not….Robby
